Vacant Lot @ Louis Vuitton

“In all things of nature there is something of the marvellous.”

On the occasion of the opening of the Louis Vuitton store, the artist Jeremy Deller (Turner Prize Winner 2004) commissioned architects what if: projects to recreate the Vacant Lot allotment in Shoreditch at the Westfield Shopping Centre. 30 grow bags were installed in front of the Louis Vuitton store planted with vegetables and flowers. The grow bags were subsequently donated to the Hammersmith Gardeners Association.
